TO OUR PATIENTS, FRIENDS, AND NEIGHBORS
It is our mission and desire to provide a safe, compassionate, and enjoyable experience for each and every one of our patients. At all times, the Johnstown Dental Care team follows the strictest of infection control measures. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are implementing additional measures to go above the guidelines set forth by the American Dental Association and the Centers for Disease Control to protect our patients, our team, and our community. You will notice some changes upon your next visit to our facility. Listed below are some of the most noticeable differences we are adopting to comply with current safety guidelines. Please take a moment to become familiar with them to help us make your next visit with us as smooth and effortless as possible.
• Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked these same questions again when you arrive at the office.
• We have curbside check-in! You will text or call us upon arrival into our parking area. We will come to meet you and escort you into the office to ensure your safety in social distancing.
• You will need to wear your personal protective face covering into the office. We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter, and your temperature will be taken to verify that dental treatment is appropriate for you.
• Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. This may mean fewer options for scheduling. As always, we will do our best to accommodate within the guidelines we must meet.
• Family and friends should stay home. With few exceptions, new regulations will not allow additional people to accompany patients into a clinical area during appointments. We ask that you address any concerns about this regulation with our friendly staff prior to your visit.
• We have invested in dental aerosol vacuums that will reduce dust and dental debris from the air as it is produced. This helps keep the air we breathe as safe as possible for all of us.
We thank you for being part of our family of patients and encourage any questions you might have about these measures we have taken to keep you and you loved-ones safe in our company. We value your faith and trust in us and look forward to seeing you soon. We are excited to be back doing what we love in the community we love even more.
